A positive matchday for everyone
Respect on the touchline
Help us make matchdays positive and enjoyable for every child. We ask all home and visiting supporters to follow these expectations:
- Stay behind the Respect barriers
Remain within the designated spectator areas.
- Encourage players from both teams
Applaud effort and good football from both sides.
- Support children when they make mistakes
Give them encouragement to try again.
- Leave the coaching to the coaches
Let them give instructions so players can concentrate.
- Respect referees and their decisions
Many grassroots referees are young people too.
- No abusive behaviour
No abusive, insulting or discriminatory language or behaviour.
Anyone who does not follow these expectations may receive a warning or be asked to leave.
If you have a concern, speak to a Bolton Town coach or club official.
Thank you for playing your part. Let the children play, learn and enjoy their football.
